Are there any legal requirements for foreign buyers?
Spain is a highly attractive destination for foreign buyers due to its favorable property laws for non-residents. However, foreign buyers must comply with several legal requirements to purchase property: • NIE (Número de Identificación de Extranjeros): Foreign buyers must obtain an NIE, a tax identification number required for all legal and financial transactions in Spain, including property purchases, paying taxes, and applying for a mortgage.
